In issue one, Terrik and his crew of space-faring freelancers come under attack by an enemy they can't even detect on their ship's sensors. After a narrow escape, they find themselves in the company of a psychic survivor on the planet's surface and face an army of terrifying alien drones.

In issue two, Terrik returns their psychic companion to his military fleet and discover that the alien attack they just survived is not an isolated incident - these creatures are showing up all over the star cluster they call home! Terrik has a weighty decision to make, and he pays dearly for the choice he makes.

In issue three, Terrik and his crew face off against another invading craft, this time armed with improved military-grade weapons but things go south when a second alien attacker arrives. The crew barely survive and are send to a place Terrik hoped never to return to.

In issue four, we learn a bit of Terrik's backstory when he and the ship's mechanic journey across his homeworld in search of an insane traveling salesman who has a component they desperately need for their ship. They face off against the inhospitable wildlife as well as a roving band of murderous bandits!

In issue five, Terrik decides to slip away from his duties for a while to take a racing ship out to the famed Red Star Rampage. Things do not go as planned when an uninvited guest threatens to ruin the fun. In desperation, he makes another terrible sacrifice to save innocent lives. Meanwhile, his crew faces off against the alien hordes on a mining asteroid and barely make it out with their lives!
