After his tremendous personal loss at the Nimbus Four Waystation, Captain Terrik Zion takes command of the Ardent Nomad and accepts privateer status with the United Terran Military.

With their newly-acquired freighter upgraded with new defensive systems and military-grade weaponry, Terrik and his crew embark on their first missions as a deputized unit.

Things go from bad to worse when the Omegans continue their relentless push into the center of the Tiras Star Cluster, and Terrik must return to a world he had hoped never to set foot on again.
